Hi, it’s me again. [1] I got to school yesterday and there were a lot of fire trucks around the building! [2] Seems my school had a fire during the night. [3] Luckily, nobody was hurt. [P]

I saw my teacher standing outside. [1] He said the fire had burned our classroom completely and that we would have to find some space in one of the other school buildings. [2] I said ”what about our books [3.3] and all the cool stuff we had in the classroom?” [3.5]

He said it was all destroyed, but not to worry [1.2]“I have a list I keep at home of all the things we have in the classroom. [1.3] Some things we’ll need right away, like desks & chairs and supplies. [2] But other things like our big globe and our wall maps we can do without for a few days.” [3] I was really glad he’d made that list! [P]

Well, I guess I don’t have school today! [1]
